Inventive Travelware is a small privately held company based in historic Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Our principals have over 50 years combined experience in brand building, sales and retail. The IT goal is to provide the consumer with quality branded products that are functional, clever and repleat with value and good cheer. Today, our products can be found in over 1300 stores in the USA and Canada.

The brand is free..IT will only charge you for the product...which will always include a pinch of cleverness. In our minds, travel is going from point A to point B and as we grow we will do our best to offer you products that organize, protect, identify and help move your possessions between those two points. In addition we will try our best to lighten this journey with style, humour, whimsy and good cheer.

richard costa
Richard has been in the business of designing and selling travel products for over 35 years. As founder of Briggs & Riley Travelware, Richard quickly built the upscale brand by listening to the consumer and catering to the independent specialty retailer. In addition to his creative talents, Richard has spent many years on the road representing numerous luggage and travel product manufacturers. In his spare time he enjoys sports, politics, statistics, golf and food.
joni seymour
Upon college graduation with a degree in design Joni found gainful employment in a small fashion jewelry company. She soon was traveling the globe sourcing products for various national retailers, including an 18 month assignment based in Hong Kong. While at Lands' End as global sourcing director, Joni was recruited by Briggs & Riley where she applied her product development and organizational skills in helping further the B&R brand status. Today she is a driving force in the development of Inventive Travelware. Joni is also an avid gardener,cook, knitter and reader. She is able to keep up with all of this by immersing herself in many hours of weekly Hot Yoga.
